    Grounding Probe location

Should a grounding plug be installed on the EB832, directly into a wall outlet or does it matter?

    Electrically it doesn't matter.
I plugged mine into the wall.
My thinking was that if for whatever reason I unplug my EB832 and something 'bad' happens, I'm still protected.
Another reason was that all my EB832 ports were in use and I didn't want to plug a AC strip into one...

Makes complete sense to me. The more I thought about it, it does make sense to find a ground in the shortest route possible. I'm learning not to always trust my instincts when it comes to APEX. I find it a bit quirky at times.
    Thanks for your input.
