    Replacing brain

I just received a replacement brain for my apex WiFi system from the service center. I took the impaired brain off, unhooked everything and added those to the new brain. Hooked up internet and get the same result. Apex isn’t connected to fusion. I reset the brain with the same result.
I unhooked the internet cable and pulled the same off my classic system and added it to the new apex with the result , apex not connected to fusion.
Put the cable back to my classic and it hooked right up to fusion again.
What might I be doing wrong? Do I contact support?
thank you for your tireless help.
    I mean that too!!

Did you follow all of the initial steps in the getting started guide including accessing apex local and linking the apex unit to fusion?
