How I manually move fluid through the DOS and not have it count towards my daily dosing?

I'm getting air in the lines coming out of the DDR. Apex sent me two new threaded john guest fittings with the plastic rods. I was thinking I would prime them by manually pumping fluid through the line into a cup and pouring it back into the container.

However, I don't want to have it count against my dosing numbers for the day.

    Any ideas?

The priming amount will count no matter what in the daily display and you can't change that behavior. You can "fill" the container after you dump it back in though so the visual display on the DDR tile still matches up.

Say I use 40ml to get it primed and then pour that back into my DDR...

Won't the Apex look at that 40ml and count that as having been added to my tank for the day? Screwing up my dosing regimen?

It wont subtract that amount from the daily total. It will just display that an extra 40ml was added and subtract it from the DDR remaining volume.
