APEX2016+EB8/EB6 and eb8zero calibration command

Hi all,

anyone know if with new apex (2016 model) the procedure of calibration the EB8/EB6 is the same as the classic apex, with telnet and eb8zero command?


I tried with a Apex2016 and an ApexEL, last 5.04 fw, with a Eb6 EU schuko, but it seems to not work properly. no return from the apex after command (no error) but the amp reading is very low, not the number that would be correct.


My doubt is that with the new gen apex the command was removed or was changed...

The command and the procedure is the same regardless of the EB model or Apex model. Despite the 'eb8zero' command containing "eb8", it works for EB8, EB4, EB832, and those EB6 variants which have an Amps sensor.

There is no output returned by the eb8zero command.

Make sure ALL outlets on the EnergyBar are switched to manual OFF before doing the eb8zero command. And be sure to specify the Aquabus address of the desired EnergyBar on the command line. 'eb8zero' by itself will not do anything. It must be 'eb8zero #' where # is the Aquabus address of the EB.
