A new AOS release is now available.

5.05_7C19 release notes:

  • The Trident is now quieter when performing initialization, priming, and testing. The robot-like / R2D2 sounds have been eliminated. All Trident owners should update to this AOS and included Trident firmware.
  • Trident will now report a low regent level error when an estimated 4-5% of a given reagent remains; previously, it was at 8-9%.
  • Addresses an issue seen in a few cases in the field where a FMM resets unexpectedly. See the notes below before updating your FMM!

This release includes updated Trident firmware; the Trident version is now 15. Be sure to update your Trident after updating the Apex. After updating the Trident firmware, the Trident will restart and go through an initialization process; the Trident tile will display INITIALIZING during this process. The first set of Alk/Ca/Mg tests performed after the Trident firmware update will take roughly twice as long (30-40 minutes); this is normal and expected to occur after a Trident module firmware update. Subsequent tests should take the usual amount of time (15-20 minutes).

This release includes new FMM firmware; the FMM version is now 18. This FMM update should only be done if your FMM exhibits problems and/or on the advice of Netune technical support. IMPORTANT: If you update your FMM firmware to the version included in this AOS release, you MUST completely disconnect Aquabus and the 24VDC power supply (if one is connected to the FMM) for a few seconds after the FMM firmware update is performed.

It may take up to 24 hours for your Apex or Apex EL to detect that this new AOS is available. If you wish to force your Apex to check for this new AOS, restart the Apex and then check the Network page in APEX Local or APEX Fusion a few minutes after the Apex restarts.
