This AOS release features:

Support for the SKY Reef Aquarium Light

This AOS contains full AOS and APEX Local user interface support for the recently announced SKY Reef Aquarium Light.

Extended temperature range

The usable temperature range has been extended for all temperature probe ports (Apex/Apex EL base units, PM1/2/3, & ASM) to 35-110 degrees Fahrenheit (2-43 degrees Celsius). Important note: A temperature probe should always be calibrated at the approximate temperature it will be used.

New 'If Error Apex Then ON' command

The new 'If Error Apex Then ON' command is an optional feature which, if added to the email alarm output, will generate an alarm notification if an Aquabus module becomes unplugged from Aquabus or otherwise becomes disconnected. The resultant Alarm Log entry and the email, push, or text notifications sent will say 'Module error' and includes the Aquabus address of the disconnected module.

Updated Trident firmware

The new version is 020. This update fixes a bug which could cause a cuvette overflow in rare conditions.

Use the Modules List to update your Trident:

1. Go to the Modules List in APEX Fusion or APEX Local
2. Click or tap on the Trident module
3. In the Configuration area, select the Update Software option, then click or tap the orange Send button.

Updated APEX Local content

• The entire profile management user interface in APEX Local has been updated and given a fresh new look.
• Corrects a bug in the clock settings timezone selection for some timezones in the Southern Hemisphere
• Configuration wizards that display the current time of day in the schedule timeline will now do so in a more obvious manner.
• In the lighting configuration wizard, numerous enhancements have been made to the display of schedule point color swatches and color gradients in the schedule timeline.
• The Send button in a schedule wizard will now change to orange immediately upon loading a Scheme. Previously, the Send button would not be available until the newly loaded Scheme was modified.

Important FMM note

If you have a FMM with flow sensors connected, and the flow sensor(s) are showing a significantly lower flow rate after updating to this new AOS, do the following:

1. Go to the Modules List in APEX Fusion or APEX Local
2. Click or tap on the FMM
3. In the Configuration area, select the Update Software option, then click or tap the orange Send button. Do this even if the FMM has a green checkmark in the Status column of the Modules List.
4. After the FMM update has finished, disconnect the Aquabus cable(s) from the FMM for a few seconds, then reconnect.

NOTE: It may take up to 24 hours for your Apex or Apex EL to detect that this new AOS is available. If you wish to force your Apex to check for this new AOS, restart the Apex and then check the Network page in APEX Local or APEX Fusion 15 minutes after the Apex restarts.
