As far as I can tell, there is no capability to bypass the builtin controller. So you are limited to ON/OFF Control with the Apex.

You might pose your question to Reefbreeders to see if it is possible to modify the fixture to accept a 0-10 volt control signal.

This thread 4 years old now. Has anything changed? i.e. is there a way yet to control the pump with APEX?

A little less than a year ago I spent a significant amount of time deciding what to do for lights over a new tank.
I looked into the photon led fixtures at the time and apex control or any third party control wasn't supported. There also didn't seem to be any interest in adding support for it.
It has been almost a year so things could have changed...

Do you have the light and if so did you have any luck with the setup?

The Photon does not appear in the Apex dashboard. The Apex is not aware of it.

You use the Apex’s built in variable (aka 0-10v) outputs (all 4 of them) or the 4 variable outputs of a VDM to control the light’s color channels.

Although this sticky post is about another lighting fixture, it contains info about identifying the variable/0-10v outputs. https://forum.neptunesystems.com/sho...s-With-An-Apex
