So you cut the plugs off going to the fixture. I was hoping not to have to do that.

The regular jacks I got from amazon work perfectly.
    I have the model 4101
i don't have the capability or hardware to make this. Is there anyone that could help me with it. And although I'm a retired/disabled computer guy I have no clue what your talking about, I'm lost. Obviously I would be more than willing to pay. I would appreciate it. Then I don't need to buy a soldering kit or multimeter or anything.

bescher, I should have the converter board tomorrow and will work on it this weekend. Once I know how to do it, I'll be happy to help you in some way. I happen to have a spare ramp timer pro and power supply so I will be cutting them up to use the plugs. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Thanks
I did some checking with Current and it seems I have the regular Maine and not the Pro according to them the Pro will not be good enough for corals. Here I am sitting with a marine that I can't use and the freshwater satellite version and both are complete except for the the fresh is missing the power transformer . If you have knowledge their info is wrong then let's go with it. Their website shows otherwise

I think the pro is usable for corals that need low to moderate lighting.

I think they said that about the regular version and the pro was good overall. But I only have the marine so I'm torn on what to do. The tank was just et up and still needs to cycle and all that. I'll probably go with a kessil 160 cheaper than the 380 that the marine pro sells for
thank you very much. I'm on limited resources (military compensation) so it save up time) again thanks

OK, I want to try this. I ordered and have the box, the dad210, the cables, etc.

I have a 72" Orbit Marine pro and an Apex Wifi. These are going on my new 125 gallon thank that is not setup.

    I am a bit confused. Do I need (2) DAD210's?

Do you have more pictures showing each separate stage you could share?

Do I still need an Apex VDM?

Hopefully these aren't too silly questions.

    Thanks!

For what you want to do, since it is 12 volts and low watts it would be easier for you to just get this:

    ELN-60-12
Connect the DC out to the fan and the DIM to the APEX VSP.
Then code up your VSP to turn on, what speed (voltage), and when.

I am doing this project now. Rule of thumb is one dad210 for each light since each light has it own PS and you would want separate control for blue/white (assuming there are separate wires off the fixture for this.) If you do not want to separately control colors then one DAD210 for both lights, but still utilizing both PSs. I would not try to run two lights of one PS since LEDs run pretty high watts.
