But, that is astronomical spring. Think that meteorological spring is the one that should be used.

Ouch. Suppose to be up to 47* F today in the 'burbs of Chicago. Though a couple weeks ago it was -10* F.

And let's not forget about our fellow Apex owners Down Under, who are in the middle of summer and have a long wait for spring

I think we gotta take Terence's words as meaning sometime after mid-March or at least as "2nd quarter"

OUCH!!! Thinking about those temps make my body ache.

Sunny and in the 50's today. Not San Diego, but I'm not freezing.

There's a pre-order at salt water aquarium that charges less when you buy 2 of them.

An even dozen should do nicely

Final specs and usage guidelines aren't available yet, so no one can really give you any realistic guidance. And tank size alone is not enough info. Shape of tank, rock work , and what you want to do with the pumps are all factors.

    ^This. Lol

In all reality, you will need somewhere between 2 and 4 depending on types of coral you keep, amount of rockwork, and the published max flow of the WAV (still not released)

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can PROVE it mathematically.

    WOW 2 - 4 on a 90? I have a 220 and was hoping to get away with 2

The good news is I don't have anything in my tank so I can grow into them... I hate spending money on my tank LOL

On a 220, you are almost definately gonna need at least 3. 2 is likely gonna be more than sufficient on a 90 as the demo units they were running at macna appeared to have about the same flow as an mp40. One could probably get enough flow with 1 in a 90 if it was positioned and and programmed just right, but in almost any tank 4 ft or longer, you will get dead spots without multiple sources even with something like an mp60

It used to say a different number that was a placeholder. I think terrance got mad at them for showing a higher price than would be announced when neptune had not announced what the pricing was going to be and made them change it to $0

I think they took it down, due to Neptune has not publicly released the price point.....as of yet

When it showed the price it was $550.00 for two WAV pumps and a 1Link module....

Youre gonna have to wait til sometime in spring before it releases. Exact release date is still unknown at this point. I expect exact details to be announced sometime in march.

That might be relevant if the WAV were being built in China.
