Issue: I used to be able to connect through app without any problems (in & outside network) using my Android S4 / Note 3. One fine day the app decided to stop connecting & I tried all possibilities but only had a red indicator & was unable to connect.
Coincidentally I switched to a new phone & restored my old data to new phone & installed Apex app fresh on the new phone & still no connection. Now this was driving me nuts!
Resolution: There is an Apex Log file in the root of your file system on your phone which was copied over to my new device during data restore. Seems like this was corrupted & all uninstall & re install did nothing but frustrate. Delete this file & voila....all issues are resolved.
Not that this is a common issue, however in case anybody face a strange issue consider my suggestion.
