DOS for planted aquariums.

Is anybody using the new DOS to dose ferts in their planted aquarium? Looks like it would be a great system to dose NPK and micros using PPS pro.

Dosing ferts is the exact same process as dosing ALK and Ca. It works great for those, so it will work great for ferts too.

You might be an engineer if...You have no life and can PROVE it mathematically.

Seems too pricey though given the amount you're dosing and frequency it will be used.

Same could be said for people dosing alk and cal with it, but you get what you pay for. I almost nuked my tank using a chinese doser because I didnt think I needed to dose enough to merit a more expensive unit. The DOS may be pricey, but its got the best motors and heads on the market

Definitely a little pricey but the convenience of having automatic dosing seems worth it. Set and forget it. One less thing to worry about. Kinda just curious what dosing regimes people who are using DOS are using.
