Adding more outlets to Neptune system

My current EB8 is full and I just bought a new DOS and would like to add to a controlled outlet for peace of mind when not in use. Is adding a EB4 or EB8 the only option? Can I have the 2nd powerbar away from the 1st one? I'm thinking to relocate the DOS pump in laundry, may need to run the 2nd powerbar in there, distance between the 2 bars would be about 40ft or so.

    Thanks for your help.

You can had as many EBX as you need , in your case you will need a long aquabus cable that you can get here : http://www.usbfirewire.com/Parts/rr-apex-xxg.html

If you want to switch an outlet on/off you need an EB4 or Eb8. I have done a couple of Runs up to 100' using USB cables from monoprice.com - Just by the non-amplified versions and electrical tape the connection points so the cables don't pull apart. Have done long runs in attics, and crawlspaces without any issue.
